Musical instruments: 15 idiophones, 4 membranophones, 91 chordophones, 72 aerophones.

Audio and video archives: audio tapes and cassettes - traditional singers, musicians; video tapes - making and playing of instruments (on the whole archives are quite short of ethnomusicological materials). Regions: Latvia. Classification/documentation: all items have description and are indexed.

Diffusion

Radio/TV: occasional. Concerts/festivals: regular concerts, especially in summer, of folklore ensembles and musicians.
